    ECU Programming
    Some ECU need to be re-programmed to work in the car for a variety of reasons. Most often the replacement ECU will need to be re-programmed to the cars immobilizer. Other times the ECU may store the cars VIN number and other important information. Whether you buy a quality used ECU from us or a new one from the dealership; some type of programming may need to be done before your car will start and run properly.
    ECU programming must be done by a Dealership or mechanic that has the proper tools to do it. Unfortunately, we do not know which computers need to be programmed and which do not. The only way to know for sure is to consult your dealership or mechanic before buying or installing the replacement.
