The 19th-century beauty replica from an original Roman marble vase, which was discovered in Hadrian's Villa, Tivoli by Gavin Hamilton, in 1771.
The beauty of this vase became a symbol of roman art, and one of the mesmerizing treasures of the Grand Tour Period.
Richly decorated with Bacchic ornaments, scrolled arms, heavy, great condition.
