ANTIQUE COPPER HAND HAMMERED DOUBLE HANDLE Art & Crafts VASE, POT, VESSEL

Description

This is a fantastic piece of handwork. It does have one 1 1/4" indentation and one smaller, very hard to photograph. A couple of tiny dings here and there from age and storage.. Two Places where the silver solder is showing and may have been repaired to hold water. It does not seem to leak now....these is a tiny moist mark by one of the soldered seams.SO it may expel small amounts of water if filled. The base has traces of duct tape. I think the tape was to protect from marring furniture.
It is 8 3/4" tall and the width of the handles is 6 3/4". Has some verdigris in the copper at the neck of the vase. The main design is scallops , swirls and paisley with numerous short lines. Weight is approx. 1 1/2 pounds.
