    Description

    A nice, well-worn set of wick trimming scissors with an attached candle snuffer. The top closure is hallmarked "IC" - I am not familiar with this hallmark, but I would date these to the 1860 - 1880 time period.
    Measures approximately 6 1/16"
    The scissors remain in fair condition, showing signs of age, use, and wear.  Heavy age patina, wax buildup and soot has left these looking very tired and work. They function mechanically fine. Please see the pictures for more detail.
