Franklin Mint Chinese Checkers 1995 Collectors Edition With Semiprecious Stones, Certificate, and Box
Up for auction is a gorgeous vintage Chinese checkers set from the Franklin Mint.  This beautiful set is in very good condition, there are a few very light scratches on the playing surface, but they are very hard to see.  This set is nearly complete with the exception of one missing blue lace agate marble.  Also included is a companion book that features instructions for play, history of the game, and certificate of authenticity.  The playing pieces are made from semiprecious stones: blue lace agate, black onyx, rose quartz, and red, brown, and green jasper.   Additionally, the cleaning instructions indicate that the board top is made of brass, and the dragons are accented with 24K gold. We have not tested the purity of them, but the paperwork doesn't indicate plate, so we are just making note of what the paperwork states. The checkers set will ship in manufacturer's packaging. This game board is quite large as you can see in photos 8 and 9, and is just over 19 inches from dragon to dragon across and about 5 inches high.
