Megasquirt 1,2,3 or Speeduino WIFI converter

I also have Bluetooth modules, see my other items.
This wifi module is designed to work with Megasquirt 1, 2 and 3 kits and also all Speeduino ecu's.  It detects the type of ecu attached and automatically sets the correct baud rate for your type of ecu (9600 /115200).
Use your laptop or even cellphone to tune your Megasquirt or Speeding OVER WIFI.  Things couldn't be more easy.  No need for a USB cable that is always in the way ;)

MSDroid, ShadowDash, RealDash and the payed version of TunerStudio (the free version of TunerStudio only supports Bluetooth).
Why choose WiFi over Bluetooth?
Wifi is faster than Bluetooth.  This means that you have more samples per second when you are
dataloging.  IOW, your graphs will contain more data over Wifi then over Bluetooth.
Reception is much further.  With internal antenna: up to 250ft in open air.  With OPTIONAL external antenna, up to 400ft.  Bluetooth has up to 30ft in open air.
The external antenna has the added advantage that you don't have to cut the housing.  A small hole is enough for the antenna wire to stick through.  Antenna is NOT included (see my other listing for a module with antenna).
You need to solder this module to your pcb, so keep that in mind when ordering.  Microsquirt is more complex but doable with a steady hand (very small solder points).
This fits inside the case of most megasquirts, so there's no need for an external box or wiring.
Attention, although it technically works with Microsquirt, I have not been able to get my hands on a Microsquirt to test if the module physically fits inside the housing.  So if you order this module and you have a Microsquirt, I DO NOT KNOW if it will physically fit.  I will work electronically though and connect fine with your laptop.

The module is programmed and ready to work out of the box with a default password.  If you want a custom SSID or password, just let me know when buying and I'll change the programming free of charge!
Since you are soldering this module in yourself, I cannot be held responsible if you damage anything.  There will be no returns accepted.  Keep this in mind when ordering please.
