    Description

    Oval cast iron plaque, Comice Agricole 1878 Ambrieres - Lassay Large White Femflies 1er Prix.  I belive what it translate mostly is Agricultural Show Large White Females (no species given, probably cows) 1st place.  Ambrieres - Lassay, not sure what that is, but Lassay is a castle in france, possibly where the event was held.  8" x 6". very good condition, no foundry stamp on back.  1/4" thick. original gold highlighting paint mostly in tact.  nice item, shipping US only. payment expected within 2 days of close of auction. nonsmoking home. thanks.
