Description

Vintage hammered copper vase, its body of rounded square section, made in Santa Clara del Cobre in the state of Michoacan, Mexico. Labor intensive copper hammering technique starts with a single lump of copper that is hammered into a desired shape, so there are no seams or joinery on the piece. Beautifully made in Arts and Crafts style, elegant shape, great patina, in excellent condition. Height 4 1/4 inches.
