Vintage Heintz Art Metal Bronze and Sterling Venice Scene Bookends

Description

This is a wonderful pair of sterling silver on bronze bookends by the Heintz Art Metal Company. Each stands about 5 1/4" tall with a stippled finish and Venice Italy scene of a gondola on water with a city scape in the background. The Heintz Art Metal mark as well as number 7090P and Sterling on Bronze is on the top of the slip plate. The Venice scene is sterling and shows a little wear to the bronze plating on it so the silver shines through. No chips, cracks, breaks or repairs that I can find.  A fine addition to any Heintz Art Metal collection.
